First-ever finalists Kerala will go up against last year's runners-up Vidarbha as the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 comes to the conclusion with the final, starting from February 26, Wednesday at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Jamta, Nagpur. (More Cricket News)

Kerala, who entered the semi-final clash only for the second time will look to clinch their first title under Sachin Baby's leadership, whereas Vidarbha will look to go one step further from their 2024 heartache and win the trophy this around.

Kerala sealed their maiden Ranji Trophy final by taking a two-run first-innings lead over Gujarat in dramatic fashion, ending a 68-year wait to reach the titular clash in Indian cricket's premier domestic competition.

Going into the final day at 429/7, Gujarat needed just 29 runs to take the first innings lead, but left-arm spinner Aditya Sarwate pulled the game back in Kerala's favour by clinching three wickets before bowling out Gujarat for 455 in 174.4 overs.

On the other hand, Vidarbha claimed a vital 80-run in the other semi-final over Mumbai to book their spot in the final.

This will be Kerala's first-ever Ranji Trophy final appearance and the fourth title clash for Vidarbha, who have lifted the premier domestic trophy in 2017-18, and 2018-19 seasons but lost to Mumbai in 2023-24 season.
